Are you looking for an opportunity to join a team of Data Scientists in building different ML algorithms to focus on personalisation within consumer b2c products

As a Machine Learning Engineer you will have the chance to work for a leading retail company in helping building different models within products. You will be working alongside both Data Scientists, Product Owners and analysts in 2 week agile sprints.

THE ROLE:

As a Machine Learning Engineer, you will be working on subscription services provided to customers and working on complex ML problems to improve their efficiency. As a machine Learning Engineer experience within personalisation within consumer b2c products is ideal as this is a large focus of the team you will be situated in. As a Data Scientist you will be using Python extensively and different ML packages. As a Machine Learning Engineer, you should be familiar with Deep Learning packages such as Neural Networks and working on end to end deployment. As a Machine Learning Engineer you will be expected to present your ideas to senior stakeholders and other members of the wider product team so you must be able to demonstrate you are an effective communicator. Previous experience working as a Machine Learning Engineer in e-commerce is highly valuable as you will be dealing with data sources such as customer data, product data and tracking data.

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

The successful Machine Learning Engineer will have the following skills and experience:

• Extensive experience with Python and a good understanding of its libraries; Pandas, NumPy, SciPy
• Good use of Deep Learning packages such as Neural Networks
• Proven experience in working on subscription-based services and personalisation within consumer b2c products
• Excellent knowledge of AWS
• Ended to end model building
• Previously dealt with senior stakeholders
• Masters in relevant field

The ideal candidate will have

• Previous experience within the e-commerce industry
