The Data Analyst will be part of the Insight Team, sitting within the Customer Strategy team, reporting into the Data Strategist.


The role requires an experienced data analyst with established analytical capabilities as well as proven leadership qualities. This individual will lead on delivering actionable customer insights from the newly implemented SCV database that will be used to inform customer strategy development.


They will also consult and support teams across them, including but not restricted to, Customer Strategy, Participation and Major Events to help generate, illustrate, deliver and champion insights that will be used to grow tennis participation across the country.

Key Accountabilities


  • Lead and drive the current and future analytical capabilities for the development of customer strategy (and where wider business they requirements exist)
  • Responsible for the definition and adoption of analytical best practices primarily within the Customer Strategy team but also an advocate for them as a whole
  • Proactively identifying opportunities and delivering enhancements to the current analytical capabilities (Specifically within Salesforce Analytics Studio/Tableau CRM)
  • Build and maintain working relationships with stakeholders and where necessary suppliers
  • Lead on and own the design, delivery and democratisation of strategic analysis projects and resulting insights that are required to deliver against their core business objectives; bringing new people into tennis and increasing participation. With a focus on predicative analytics looking to drive next best action(s) and increased engagement with customers
  • Day to day maintenance of specific underlying data flows (transformations), extensions and objects within Salesforce (Tableau CRM and Marketing cloud)
