To play a significant support role in the Global Institutional Business team, with a particular focus on data requirements. This is a high-performance team that is responsible for institutional client acquisition, servicing and retention in both the South African and International Markets.

Duties and Responsibilities

Responsibility for the preparation, maintenance and reporting of the team’s data requirements including, but not limited to: - AUM and fund flows - Database requirements - Data requests for due diligence questionnaires, requests for proposals and new business tenders - Client surveys - Management and board-level reporting > Continually evaluate and enhance data integrity and data delivery processes > Manage ad-hoc information requests > Liaise with staff at various levels of the organization and from other departments to ensure high levels of client service and administration > Source information from various areas of the business, deal with senior managers for input and take ownership of accurate data delivery within stringent time constraints > Deal with all relevant business and product related data queries within the team > Drive data- and process- related projects within the team > Produce accurate, comprehensive and up-to-date process documentation.

Ideal Experience

> 5 years’ working experience in the financial services industry. > A minimum of 2 to 3 years’ experience in an analytical/quantitative role > Experience working within the asset management industry is preferred.

Ideal Qualifications

> Financial mathematics or statistical orientated qualification: BBusSci / BComm / BSc

> Excellent Excel and Microsoft Office knowledge > Working knowledge of VBA and Microsoft SQL > Salesforce experience a distinct advantage
