As part of our commitment to continually increase our internal IT capability and in alignment with the Newcastle 2040 Community Strategic Plan, a newly created permanent opportunity exists for an experienced Data Analyst.
As a Data Analyst with CN, you will play a key role in supporting CN stakeholders to make data-driven decisions by undertaking complex analysis, increasing organisational digital literacy through self-service and delivering innovative and insightful data products. A key focus of your role will be to support the business to understand the underlying issues/opportunities and develop a means to address these through appropriate data capture, wrangling, analysis, and reporting. To impact decision making, you will develop actionable insights, be an adept data storyteller, and provide recommendations to key stakeholders.
You passion to make a positive impact to CN and the Newcastle Community through relevant data and insights, will be key to your ongoing success.
You will have the opportunity to drive the delivery, support and continual improvement of data products and solutions and ensure that they meet business objectives and strategic outcomes. Aside from excellent data management, manipulation, interrogation, and insight generation skills, a key focus of your role will be to build strong relationships throughout CN, becoming a key enabler to enhance the organisations data literacy through building awareness, capability, and capacity.
