Sustainability Data Analyst

Job description

Henry Nicholas Associates have partnered with a global marketing services agency who have grown by acquisition and are now looking for a Sustainability Data Analyst to join their business analytics team and help measure and report sustainability performance for them and their clients.

The Experience We Need.
  • Excellent analytics skills and interpretation/understanding of data and reporting
  • Experience in designing, implementing and leading reporting solutions
  • Knowledge and ability to extract and manipulate data from varied systems
  • Experience of data cleansing, analysis
  • Strong communicator at all business levels
  • Able to present complex data in an easy-to-understand manner
  • A passion to learn and grow their skills and capabilities
  • Microsoft office skills, including excellent MS excel skills
  • Experience of Microsoft Power BI reporting & dashboard development ideal (but not essential)
  • Experience of working in sustainability / Environmental focused role (ideal but not essential)
The role.
  • Work closely with key stakeholders to ensure accurate measurement and reporting of performance against client sustainability principles/KPIs.
  • Drive consistency in data capture, process, measurement, and deployment of sustainability and ESG dashboards
  • Support initiatives/workstreams aligned to evolving sustainability capabilities including carbon capture, supply chain diversity, logistics emissions, traceability, trends analysis
  • Confidently engage with internal and external stakeholders to offer advice and shape sustainability focused data and analytics solutions
  • Support on improving existing reporting processes, stripping out inefficiencies and propose improved, automated ways of working
  • Design, develop, deliver, and maintain best in class reports and dashboards
  • Analysis, validation and cleansing of data sets (basic and complex)
The company.

A well known and successful Marketing Services consultancy, part of a global group who help organisations derive insight from their data through a multi-channel approach. They have a range of clients and are now going through a period of rapid growth and innovation. This role is based in Wakefield 2 days a week and can be remote 3 days.
