My client is based in the Newcastle area are currently looking to recruit for an experienced Data Engineer to join their Data Platform team. My client is about to embark on a huge Databricks implementation project and are looking for a Data professional to aid in this implementation.

Your Role Will Include

  • Architecture: Design and implement scalable data ingestion solutions on Azure using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Delta Lake, and Python.
  • Data Integration: Develop robust ETL/ELT processes for integrating data into Azure services.
  • DataOps: Implement DataOps to automate the data lifecycle, ensuring rapid and high-quality data delivery.
  • CI/CD: Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment of data workflows.

For this role, my client is looking for a candidate that has experience in…

  • Azure Data Platform - ADF, Databricks, Azure Synapse..
  • Experience orchestrating data ingestion into Azure Data Lake, developing advanced analytics data models, and deploying Azure Logic Apps and Function Apps for process automation.
