About The Team
The APAC Insights Team is part of Global Business Marketing at TikTok . It aims at developing research-backed insights and validated claims to increase credibility and favorability for TikTok Business. Besides industry thought-leadership projects, the team supports positioning and TikTok narratives through insights, data points and claims. The APAC Insights team collaborates with multiple teams across the region and with TikTok Global Research and Marketing Science team.

About The Job
This position requires exceptional analytical and problem solving skills to formulate and complete end-to-end analyses (data analysis, visualization), synthesize actionable data points as well as the ability to influence cross-functional teams with key data points.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide analytical and insights support to drive projects across APAC Go-to-Market team and APAC sales teams for TikTok ad solutions.
  • Leverage data from various internal and external sources and turn it into insights that help Sales teams realize business opportunities. These insights should offer impactful findings surrounding TikTok audience behaviour, TikTok products and TikTok key clients.
  • Develop user-friendly dashboards and automation processes to scale data extraction for stakeholders from GTM and sales.
  • Understand core user needs and develop dashboards which meet stakeholder requirements effectively.
  • Project manage key initiatives and stakeholder communications as required to ensure consistent and well executed deployment.
  • Partner with product leads to create insights and frameworks that will provide the strategic direction of the product.
  • Support Data pull requests across different markets in APAC region
  • Assist with responding to internal platform tickets raised in a timely and effective maner
  • Conduct routine and non-routine end-to-end analyses with large, complex data sets
  • Responsible for refreshing dashboards and other data repository on regular basis
  • Investigate anomalies and propose solutions.
  • Assist with the design and implementation of data reports according to business needs
  • Working and collaborating with a cross-functional team that includes Product & Marketing, Sales, Customer Solutions, Brand Strategy
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience
  • Proficient in SQL and data visualization tool (Tableau,Data Studio) and familiar with Python or R for data analysis.
  • Experience in conducting data analysis across datasets, using database query systems, spreadsheet and statistical modeling software (e.g., SQL, R, and/or Python)
  • Experience in creating dashboards to surface trends and insights
  • Experience in digital marketing, especially campaign measurement, will be preferred
  • Ability to communicate the results of analyses, along with the ability to compile briefing materials and other communications output
  • Comfort navigating ambiguity in a high-pressure environment
  • Knowledge of Southeast Asian markets a plus
  • Working level competency in Excel
  • Experience with automation(google app script) is a plus.
