About the department

The BI Solutions team consists of 20 employees in Denmark and approximately 50 employees in India. We provide Business Intelligence solutions globally.

We have a modern BI Platform with front-end tools like MS Power BI, Qlik Sense, Tableau, and Alteryx which is utilizing a wide range of data sources at the back-end, ranging from enterprise-level ERP data (SAP Business Warehouse on HANA) and a diverse dataset from other global and local systems in an enterprise data lake. Our solutions enable critical corporate processes across multiple functional areas such as financial reporting, sales and marketing, manufacturing, clinical trials, regulatory submissions, and more.

The position
We offer an exciting combination of the roles of a System Manager and a Data Engineer position. This is a unique opportunity to drive and develop our digital finance journey; to start with, by establishing a data foundation and data repository environment for solution development driven by business colleagues on the Microsoft Azure Cloud Stack. The platform is in the making; hence you will have a unique opportunity to shape this environment to match the user and manage this cloud data repository.

You will be working in Global IT and working closely with the Global Finance organisation. You will be utilising corporate solutions for data management and analytics. Furthermore, you will communicate with finance Directors and data stewards to translate business requirements into data development activities.


We realise that few people are experts at everything. But if you can nod your head at some of the following attributes, then you could be the person, we are looking for:

  • Academic background (IT, Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, Computer Science, or similar)
  • System management experience
  • SQL Server experience
  • Operational experience in managing and using cloud tools within the Microsoft Azure stack
  • Experience within Microsoft Analysis Services (SSAS)
  • Experience in managing, extending, and building data pipelines in Azure Data Factory (ADF)
  • Team player who can work both in teams and still be able to work without supervision, focus on efficiency and business value in all tasks
