The Analytics & Data Organization is part of Morgan Stanley’s Wealth Management Division. The organization’s responsibility is to support Wealth Management’s strategic objectives through the use and exploitation of its data and analytical assets. Key focus areas will be in support of organic growth through the digitization and delivery of investment advice; partnering with each business area by providing them the tools, expertise, and support for them to understand and analyze their own data; and to make data and analytics a differentiated capability for the firm. The team’s responsibility is to support Wealth Managements strategic objectives through the use and exploitation of its data and analytical assets.
You will:Interface with Business Partners on a regular basis to understand business needs and expectationsBuild data models and analyses based on agreed upon requirementsPartner extensively with other teams within and outside the Analytics & Data group such as data visualization, data science, sales and marketing teams to deliver business solutionsUtilize proactive problem-solving and innovative thinking to address challengesCreate relevant documentation where needed
Bachelor’s or higher degree in Technical field with Business/Economics background or vice versa0-3 years of related experienceGood knowledge of SQL
Proficient analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to determine business partner needs and create purpose built solutions
