Position Overview:
Public Sector, FederalWe are seeking a creative, hands-on, hardworking team member to join out data and technology group in support of our Department of Justice client.

Our Impact:
The Data and Technology Group supports division vertical teams to deliver technology solutions supporting Defense, Homeland, and FedCiv clients by delivering analytics services and developing applications and algorithms through Lean Development and Agile Methodologies.

The DTG provides the homebase for full-stack developers, data engineers, data scientists, and other technologists, creating a dynamic, cross-project technical community that prioritizes continual learning, collaboration, and easy opportunities for project variety over time.

The DTG also ensures that our focus on delivering for current customers is balanced with initiatives that will help drive future growth - both in terms of new customers and new technologies and solutions. We create demonstrations and pilot capabilities to help clients as they consider how to modernize and maximize their processes, operations, and mission impact.
Responsibilities:

The Data Analyst will be responsible for the following:
  • Lead the metrics program for the Continuous Process Improvement Team
  • Produce and manage data including but not limited to, datasets tools, databases; spreadsheets, tables and other formats for data collection
  • Compile data and maintain information in various databases
  • Research and transcribe data, run quality control reports, track unfinished reports, print reports, and distribute to appropriate parties
  • Perform office management duties, such as coordinate office activities to include scheduling meetings and maintaining calendars, manage incoming calls and visitors, and coordinate travel arrangements
  • Read, review and disseminate incoming correspondence
  • Establish and maintain various filing and record management systems
  • Draft, proof, and process correspondence and other materials
  • Research, compile, assimilate, and prepare confidential and sensitive documents

Required Qualifications:
  • Ability to obtain/maintain Secret Clearance; US Citizenship Required
  • BA or BS in related field
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant experience
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, Project)
  • Proficient in Tableau and/or PowerBI
  • Proficient in Python
  • Ability to work with precision and accuracy in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to be organized, detail-oriented, flexible, and dependable
  • Experience working and interacting with high-level executives, public officials, and stakeholders
  • Effective written and verbal communication
  • This position supports hybrid remote work, candidates must be able to commute to the pentagon as necessary to access data system, typically 2-3x per week.
  • The status of applicable COVID-19 vaccination requirements under Executive Order 14042 are subject to change depending on applicable court orders and the course of ongoing litigation. Candidates may be required to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination or have an approved exemption.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Secret Clearance preferred
  • Tableau and/or PowerBI Certification
  • Interest in moving towards a Data Engineering / Data Science career field
