The opportunity
The Mace Cost Centre of Excellence (CoE) team are looking for a data analyst to join them in a seconded client-side PMO role with one of our key strategic private sector clients. The role will involve collecting, analysing, and reporting on capital planning on various projects. In addition to looking after our existing systems, you will support the development and design of new ones, helping build up our systems and offerings.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Managing and collating data from various stakeholders in a timely and efficient manner to support reporting and assurance of programme of works.
- Working closely with various stakeholders to understand data content and support reporting requirements.
- Chairing regular meetings with various stakeholders to maintain data capture and reporting.
- Producing monthly reports and provide analysis as required to support reporting and assurance.
- Using tools and techniques to visualise data in easy-to-understand formats, such as diagrams and graphs.
- Monitoring data quality, fixing problems and identifying improvements.
About You
You have a bachelor’s degree in a number of subjects (e.g. quantity surveying, engineering, economics, finance, maths). You must have a keen eye for detail and be confident managing large amounts of data. You are digitally savvy and an expert user of Microsoft Office, in particular Excel. Knowledge of PowerBI or similar tools is also desirable and a willingness to learn essential
Having previous work experience as a data analyst in the property and construction industry will be beneficial, but this is not a pre-requisite.
