ABOUT THE TEAM
You will become a part of
the advertising data science and advanced analytics team , comprising 5 data scientists and analysts.
Our daily endeavours encompass working on complex
data products , including all stages of development. This involves building
ETL pipelines , extracting
insights from data , taking charge of our
AWS infrastructure, and, from time to time, delving into the realm of
CI/CD. We also maintain a close cooperation with the engineering team that manages the data infrastructure for advertising.
Moreover, our interactions extend beyond borders. Team members frequently engage with business developers and operations specialists located in our markets Norway and Sweden. This connection is instrumental in maintaining a close link to the business outcomes of our work.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a part of the Ads Analytics team, your responsibilities will include:
- developing complex data products to estimate the efficiency of marketing campaigns
- conducting statistical analysis to provide actionable insights using Python and/or Spark
- building and maintaining ETL pipelines which process billions of records
- maintaining and enhancing the existing AWS infrastructure
- writing ad hoc queries and complex programs
- working on proof of concept of products for customers targeting and segmentation
- mentoring less experienced team members
ABOUT YOU
We are seeking a
strong regular or early senior data scientist with extensive experience in processing
large volumes of data. The perfect candidate should have a mix of technical & collaborative skills.
We are looking for someone who has :
- At least 3 years of experience as a Data Scientist/Machine Learning Engineer/Data Engineer or in other relevant role
- Strong knowledge of Python programming language (including OOP and unit testing)
- Experience with processing large volumes of data through Spark
- Proficiency in using Data Science methodologies (including Machine Learning ) to solve complex business problems
- Knowledge of basic DevOps tools and methodologies (Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD)
- Familiarity with AWS (EMR, SageMaker, StepFunctions, S3, Lambda, CloudFormation)
- Experience with version control systems (e.g. git)
- High data storytelling skills
- Some working experience with Airflow (would be a strong plus)
