Bring your talent within data analytics, programming and engineering into play and help us to scope, implement and demonstrate scalable solutions that shape the development of the LEGO Group’s injection moulding process by systematic utilisation of data, statistics, modelling and software.
No relocation assistance is offered for this position.
Core Responsibilities
In this temporary position, you will primarily support the demonstrators within the digital moulding process program aiming to scope and build the future digitalized and automated injection moulding solutions. In this way, you will understand and work with the link between data analysis, process variables and material properties. More specifically, you will
- Develop scalable demonstrators that bridge the gap between innovative IoT concepts and full-scale, tangible solutions in injection moulding, ensuring a seamless transition from idea to deployment.
- Maintain and enhance the data infrastructure at Moulding Analytics Center (MAC), ensuring a lab-driven approach that provides full control and oversight over IoT data management and analysis.
- Oversee the selection, installation, and calibration of advanced sensors on injection moulding machines to accurately capture key operational parameters.
- Lead the development and integration of software solutions for IoT-driven innovations in injection moulding, ensuring robust implementation using various industrial communication protocols and networks.
- Develop and implement data analytics solutions that integrate diverse data sources, including production, quality control, and planning, to optimize injection moulding processes and drive continuous improvement through comprehensive IoT-driven insights.
- Set clear plans and direction for the moulding technicians in charge of performing the tests.
- Foster a collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork both within your own department and across other departments to achieve shared goals and ensure the successful integration of the solutions.
