Data Engineer

This organisation is a major player in the sport & leisure industry in WA. They have developed their Technology function modernising internal systems, moving to Cloud, mobile app development and a variety of data & analytics initiatives. They have attracted a number of experienced Tech professionals for their Tech stack, projects and working environment. Promoting an Agile, collaborative and supportive environment across the business, they are currently seeking a Data Engineer to join the team.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain the organisation’s data pipeline and data lake infrastructure to provide near real-time decision-making capabilities
• Manage and organise data, pro-actively reviewing it for inconsistencies or trends that may impact business goals or initiatives
• Leverage the organisation’s master data management and data governance framework to provide highest quality, consistency, and reliability within the data platform

Requirements:

• Proven experience in implementation of data lakes using AWS
• Experience in establishing real-time pipeline infrastructure for ETL processes
• Experience with data modelling tools and best practise methodologies and techniques
• Ability to provide design and coding leadership, and intelligent problem-solving, in a team environment
