Data is responsible for the development and execution of architectures, policies, practices and procedures in order to manage the information lifecycle needs of Condé Nast in an effective manner and examine Condé Nast’s data with the purpose of drawing conclusions about that information. Activities include analyzing and interpreting collected data; spotting trends; writing reports and recommendations for internal or external clients; data modeling and creating data architectures; developing and enhancing the data warehouse; back-end transaction/data processing; and market research professional services. Data Analytics is responsible for performing complex data research and analysis including creating data analysis methodologies to identify trends in large data sets; researching and applying knowledge of existing and emerging data science principles, theories, and techniques to inform business decisions. At higher career levels, may conduct scientific research projects with the goal of breaking new ground in data analytics. Entry-level individual contributor that contributes as the most junior team/project member Work is closely supervised
