Who We’re Looking For: A Data Scientist with expertise in retail and consumer goods domains for a long term contract position! This is a remote hybrid position.
Responsibilities:
Run, develop, and use analysis tools for company data integration and organization
Run analytical experiments and evaluate theoretical alternate models
Analyze processes and systems to extract insights from structured and unstructured data
Managing analytics database and implementing processes that improve and lead to greater data quality
Conducting statistical analyses to develop strategies while documenting all processes and research
Building new algorithms and model training
Executing projects involving analytics and identifying data patterns and trends
Analyzing data to develop predictive models
Generates data mining algorithms and creates computer models
Creating, managing, and maintaining analytically rigorous data
Noting anomaly detection and running diagnostics
Performing graphical model analysis
Possessing a solid machine learning foundation
Qualifications:
Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or other related discipline
Expert in statistical modeling/data mining Experienced with SQL Server Experienced in data analysis, predictive modeling, and data mining techniques
Strong familiarity and hands-on experience with SQL and statistical software packages (Python, R, SAS)
Knowledge of tools and techniques in machine learning
Expert in relational database design and concepts
Expert in one or more programming languages (C/C++, Python, Perl, Java)
Experience in genetic algorithms, logistic and linear regression, PCA, decision tree analysis and statistical methods
Solid knowledge of both theory and practice of data science
Demonstrated expertise in some or all of the following: probability, statistics, operations research, classification and clustering methods, variable selection, and decision trees
Familiarity with modern data science libraries and tools, including but not limited to Gurobi, Pulp, Scipy, Scikit-learn, Pandas, Tensorflow, Keras, and similar
Experience with visualization software such as Power BI and Python Dash is a plus
Experience with cloud computing services such as Microsoft Azure is a plus
