About the role:

As a Data Engineer you’ll work with our clients to help them realise the full potential of their data. In this role, you will design, implement, deploy and support a broad range of data solutions across analytics and big data, including expertise across data management, data governance, metadata, and data lifecycle management.

Most of all, we'll want you to have strong consulting skills and a desire to add value. As a CatapultBI Consultant, we'll want you to make a positive impact and work with our clients to upskill their teams, improve delivery and achieve outstanding outcomes.

About you:

• Previous experience developing and implementing data solutions at an enterprise level
• Strong consulting and problem-solving skills
• Strong programming skills in C++ or Python
• Applied knowledge of CI/CD concepts and deployment of data solutions
• Knowledge of database architecture, administration, integration and development
• Data modelling skills, including a strong foundation in data warehousing concepts, data normalisation, and dimensional data modelling such as OLAP
• Experience in leveraging cloud-based data analytics platforms such as AWS serverless architecture in Lambda on AWS DynamoDB, EMR, Azure Data Lake, HDInsight, GCP BigQuery/BigTable, Cloud Dataprep/Dataflow/Dataproc
• Prior experience building large-scale enterprise data pipelines using commercial or open-source Big Data or NoSQL platforms
• Experience with real-time data
• Data Integration, quality, migration, visualisation experience with tools such as PowerCenter, SSIS, ETL development, Informatica Data Quality, Infosphere Quality Stage, reporting tools: PowerBI/Qlik/SAS VA
