DATA SCIENTIST (12month FTC)

£50,000 - £60,000

We have an exciting opportunity for a Data Scientist with a UK-based broadcaster in Leeds. The successful candidate will be at the forefront of pioneering projects related to recommender systems, personalization, forecasting, and segmentation within the broadcasting industry.

Responsibilities

• Application of advanced data Science and Machine Learning techniques to enhance recommender systems for an improved user experience.
• Development of data-driven strategies for personalized content delivery and enhanced audience engagement.
• Collaboration with cross-functional teams to forecast trends and predict audience behavior for optimized programming and scheduling.
• Implementation of segmentation techniques to gain insights into the diverse viewer base and tailor content accordingly.
  
  

Requirements

• BSc or MSc in a relevant field.
• Demonstrated experience in machine learning techniques.
• Proficiency in programming languages like Python.
• Strong grasp of statistical methodologies and their practical application.
• Previous experience in developing and implementing recommender systems or personalization algorithms is highly advantageous.
