We are the Lavazza HR Talent Acquisition Team and we’re looking for a Data Scientist Intern.

The job title sounds interesting right? But you may be wondering, what does a Data Scientist Intern actually do in Lavazza?

You’ll join of our Sales Innovation & Effectiveness team in Nuvola, our HQ in #Torino.

The Team is committed to drive sales growth & cost efficiency through innovation and process improvement, leverage data-driven insights, and deliver exceptional value.

As a Business Data Scientist Intern, you will have the opportunity to work alongside industry experts and contribute to our mission of transforming through advanced data analytics.

📊 Your Day-to-day Activities

• Conduct data analysis and modeling to support various business initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business objectives and develop data-driven solutions.
• Develop predictive models and algorithms to support decision-making processes.
• Communicate findings and insights effectively through reports and presentations.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest data science methodologies, tools, and technologies.
  
  
  

💡 Who We’re Looking For

• You’re available for a 6-month full time internship. Starting date: September 2024
• You’ll be fluent in Italian and English - you’ll probably have an international experience? Way to go!
• You have a Degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Familiarity with data manipulation and visualization tools, such as Excel, Tableau, or Power BI.
• Knowledge in programming languages such as Python or R is a plus
