Data Analyst

The Data Analyst will perform complex analyses and generate insights to help make and inform important decisions across our organization. This individual will collaborate with internal teams to identify new metrics, build out reporting, and perform data analyses that leverages internal & external data to drive decision making.

Position Responsibilities

Data Analytics

• Consults with business leaders to drive improved business performance through. statistical analysis and operational research techniques.
• Provides prescriptive and predictive analytics expertise to support business stakeholders in understanding opportunity areas.
• Researches, identifies, and integrates new data sources and associated analytics as appropriate to support strategic analyses.
• Provides advanced support as required for compliance with regulations, maintaining an awareness of evolving regulatory guidelines and industry practices.
• Develops presentations, artifacts, and documents to communicate analytical results and output.
• Collaborates within product teams to deliver/communicate output of advanced analysis to support business priorities.

Dashboard

• Create robust and easy-to-understand data visualizations to quickly show senior business leaders key problem areas, new opportunities, and emerging trends.
• Establish metrics, reporting and review mechanisms to enable data-driven decision making.
• Set up automated and scalable backend structure to support reporting and dashboarding needs.

Position Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Analytics, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Statistics, or other relevant technology degree and/or experience
• Preferred, Master's Degree in Business, Finance, Analytics, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Statistics, or other relevant technology degree and/or experience
• 1 year of relevant experience in data analytics, economics, business, or finance
• 1 year of experience and expertise working with SQL
• 1 year of partnering with other business functions and communicating complex analyses to non-technical leaders
• 1 year of dashboarding and data storytelling, proficiency with data visualization tools such as Power BI and Tableau

Comerica Bank Tower8:00am - 5:00pm Monday - Friday. This position offers a hybrid work model that includes onsite and remote days as determined by the manager.
