This role will assist our Clients eCommerce team in identifying opportunities for improvement, improving cost efficiency and guiding requirements to deliver business improvements. You will get to understand how the business works today, link it to the data that is available and development of commercial and operational solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Run and improve the forecasting capabilities using data science techniques to enable optimal balance of cost to sales
  • Tune, enhance and productionise models and clearly communicate decisions and results to core stakeholders
  • Provide general decision support analysis to enable data driven decision making
  • Communicate and collaborate with stakeholders to collect and maintain the forecasting inputs
  • Be able to identify and recommend the right trade-offs between recommendations in an environment with complex interplay between different measures of success
  • Build, visualise and present essential insights to engage audiences of varied seniority
  • Ensure that analysis is accurate, well documented and clearly presented

Key Skills

  • Supply Chain and Logistics Optimisation
  • We are looking for a productivity analyst that is methodical, highly numerate and disciplined in thinking that can manipulate complex data sets into meaningful insights while engaging stakeholders
  • You would need to be proactive and able to identify gaps in data and process and to challenge the status quo to promote innovative thinking
  • In addition:
  • Previous retail and operational experience or FMCG is advantageous
  • Experience working with retail, eCommerce, logistics or supply chain would be beneficial
  • Forecasting or econometrics experience would be beneficial
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in advanced analytics
  • Advanced skills in the following: SQL, R or Python, one of PowerBI/Tableau and Excel
  • Experience with parallel processing and hyperparameter tuning
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
