The Regional Initiatives division specializes in providing large scale public benefit programs to low-income families in our region. We operate our programs across multiple database platforms and serve over 25,000 families each year.
Develops and maintains database queries and reporting applications to support Regional Initiatives programs. Documents reports and reporting processes, procedures, and report design.
Expected Outcomes
- As requested, (monthly) provide data and scenarios across RI programs to locate neighbors that are enrolled in BR programs and identify other potential programs for those neighbors.
- Locate and use existing databases outside of BR to identify neighbors that would benefit from BR administered programs and share those potential program participants with RI Leadership.
- Provide total duplicated and unduplicated households served by each RI program and other BR programs through the program integration objectives.
CORE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Use analytical tools, such as Excel, SQL, R, Python, and Power BI, to extract, clean, and analyze data.
- Produce regularly scheduled and ad hoc reports to provide insight on key performance metrics and goals as set forth by the agency and/or sponsors from the private, public, or non-profit sectors.
- Automate the reporting process where appropriate.
- Visualize data through Excel, Power BI, or other software tool.
- Provide analytical support to all departments within the division, including but not limited to Rental Assistance, Shelter, Rapid Rehousing, Utility Assistance, and other relevant programming as determined necessary.
- Communicate and explain analyses and findings to program and agency staff.
- Act as a data subject matter expert, through an understanding of the database and data structure, data collection, and use of data within Regional Initiatives Division.
- Take immediate action to address and resolve funders, program participants, and vendor inquiries.
- Perform other duties as may be assigned.
