About Palm Engineering

Engineering at Palm today consists of a team of five engineers with diverse engineering and cultural backgrounds. We are located in Amsterdam and Stockholm, mostly working remotely with frequent gatherings in one of our locations or at off-sites where it is warmer and sunnier 🏖️

The engineering team has been working together since November 2023 so there is still a lot of opportunities for high impact work as well as playing an important role in further shaping the engineering organisation and culture.

How will you make an impact?

After receiving a strong customer response of our data-intensive features, we now want to elevate them to the next level. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up the foundation for Palm's data infrastructure, collaborating with our ML engineer to deploy ML models and data pipelines to production, developing internal tools for various stakeholders to interact with data, and building infrastructure to monitor and improve performance. You’ll likely bring in new technologies to accomplish this.

Your role will involve close collaboration with engineers, designers, and founders (who bring expertise from Fintech & Treasury) to determine how Data can best serve Palm’s customers.

Our wish list

We are looking for a proactive and eternally curious person with a love for learning new things. The successful candidate will have experience maintaining production-level ML solutions and possess solid software engineering and ML principles. Strong Python and SQL skills are essential. You will likely have 5+ years of experience in software engineering, data science, or machine learning, including at least 2 years in data engineering or MLOps. We highly value the ability to collaborate effectively, a clear sense of ownership and clear communication. Experience with GCP would be a nice bonus, but it's not required.
