The Sales Planner will provide support to Sales teams in planning, forecasting and scenario building or various sales activities across the different business lines. This individual will work collaboratively with partners in various areas of the organization including sales, underwriting, marketing and strategy. They will be responsible for consolidating data from multiple claim platforms, geographic regions and other ancillary tools in order to develop proposals, dashboards and meaningful business plans.
This position has direct impact on the ability to achieve our sales and earnings expansion and is an individual contributor position that works as part of a broader team to improve performance and drive long term sustainable growth in our markets.
Analyses data from multiple sources to put together key opportunities and sales priorities.
Builds and analyses different scenarios and forecasts each opportunity as required
Aligns sales plans and requirements between business functions
Manages standard business reports including monthly operations and sales reporting
Support Sales Management on analysis on sales performance, plan design, and reporting.
Cross-Functional collaboration with Technology teams, Sales, Proposals, Finance and other departments as needed to identify opportunities for development and automation of new or existing models or reports.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, MIS, or related field or 3+ years equivalent work experience.
Working knowledge of Microsoft application software (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Strong presentation skills and able to communicate with all levels of management.
Proven organizational skills with the ability to develop a detailed work plan to ensure project success.
Demonstrated problem solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments to resolve issues.
Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong requirements elicitation and conflict resolution skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple priorities.
