As a Senior HR Data Scientist, you will be a key part of the global HR Data Intelligence team and create advanced analytics, machine learning and AI solutions to better address our peoples’ needs while streamlining our HR processes and approaching our people experience journey in more innovative ways taking us into the future.

In this role, you will work closely with senior leaders within and outside of HR to determine leading and lagging indicators for key people success and track those with meaningful metrics and methodologies.

We are looking for an experienced analytical expert with a passion for details, curiosity about understanding customer needs and a practical knowledge of HR operations to help us turn our data into tangible, usable insights and help drive our people and organization strategy forward.

You will contribute to the global Data Intelligence community, share your knowledge, and leverage other colleagues’ experience in designing scalable, global solutions. This role will report into the Head of HR Data Intelligence and your ultimate success lies in the support and close collaboration with the various internal and external stakeholders at all levels of the organization.


  • Understand and use data science as well as technology tools to communicate and deliver insights and recommendations expressed as visual, predictive, and/or prescriptive analytics to answer and improve HR’s operational & business needs
  • Liaise with stakeholders to crystallize business requirements, translate them into viable data science projects and deliver actionable insights solving real business problems in a scalable way supporting our end-to-end people experience strategy
  • Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality in order to obtain value from the full range of all data sets gaining in-depth people knowledge to better answer peoples’ needs and increase the impact of our HR initiatives
  • Evaluate, understand, translate, and present data in ways that are universally understandable or easy to interpret, and spot patterns, trends, and correlations in complex data sets
  • Develop compelling and effective reports and self-services dashboards using various reporting and visualization tools to meet HR needs and make recommendations for people management and process improvements
  • Work in close collaboration with internal Richemont HRIS and Data platforms teams who are defining and driving IT infrastructure and tools framework and offer
  • Stay current on emerging IT and data trends, identify opportunities for improvement and cost savings and work with our HR community to determine new ways to use data


  • Master’s degree in data science, mathematics, economics, computer science or statistics
  • Minimum 7 years of proven working experience in a data scientist role developing models and algorithms creating meaningful business impact and solving business problems
  • Experience in analytics of people operations and HR is a strong plus. Knowledge of HR functions and practices desired.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (SAP BI, Business Objects, …), databases (SQL etc.), coding & data visualization tools (SAP Analytics Cloud is a plus)
  • Ability to see and/or uncover the ‘bigger picture’ as it relates to data trends, patterns, and correlations, and come to new conclusions based on the findings
  • Intellectual curiosity and capability, as well as ability to conceptualize data into meaningful story and conclusions that allow leaders to make decisions, take action and move the business forward.
  • Entrepreneurial and innovative, able to work autonomously without explicit direction at times using logic/critical thinking skills to solve problems
  • Open and pro-active team player building trust and credibility and establishing positive and productive working relationships with a diverse array of stakeholders inside and outside the company

  • Exceptional communication, presentations and influencing skills
  • Fluent in English and French
