We are currently seeking a Data Analyst in Global Travel Retail team located in Hong Kong office to support the business expansion projects and lead on data analytics.

Your opportunity

The (Sr.) Commercial Data Analyst will work in the Cartier Global Travel Retail team (a headquarter function) to lead on commercial data analysis and support business expansion globally in this channel.

He/she will be responsible to conduct in-depth business analysis and support the business development activities to facilitate our local markets to develop Travel Retail network and improve business performances.

He/she will also play an instrumental role in the commercial analysis and strategic planning of Global Travel Retail and Travel Retail Asia.

How you will contribute


  • Maintain commercial reporting and sales forecast by working closely with commercial and finance teams and provide recommendations on optimization.
  • Maintain databases/data systems (network, air traffic, etc.), and acquire data from primary or secondary data sources when needed.
  • Lead on commercial data analysis (sales, air traffic, etc.) and ensure to turn data into insight and insight into business decisions. Make sure necessary analysis improvement and/or automation will be implemented based on business needs.
  • Responsible for creation of new analysis tools/model/dashboard (power BI, SAP analytics) and continuous improvement of existing ones for better accuracy and efficiency.
  • Use data visualization tools to share insight and/or forecasts with local market teams.
  • Effectively communicate business trends that impact revenue to the Global Travel Retail team and local market teams. Provide research, tools, and best-case sharing to markets.


  • Assist on analysis and reporting on business development and commercial topics to help to drive growth.
  • Drive the airport and air traffic analysis to help to shape the global travel retail strategies and roadmaps. Type of projects include but not limited to annual strategic plan, airport roadmaps, market deep dives.

Key requirements
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or above in Statistics, Data Analysis, Business or Engineering.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in business analytics, preferably with brands related to travel retail or luxury market.
  • Strong analytical skills and highly advanced abilities with data analysis and visualization tools (such as Excel, Access, Power BI, SAP Analytics)
  • Result orientated, self-motivated, dedicated, enthusiastic and energetic
  • Able to work with all levels of people
  • Team player
  • Languages:
    • Fluent in English (both spoken and written)
    • Other language (Mandarin, Cantonese, French) is a plus.
