What you'll do:
- Build and maintain systematic reporting and dashboards to foster self-service data culture
- Conduct deep dives to understand feature / component performance and user behavior, evaluate AB tests, and extract actionable insights
- Drive research and modeling around retention, conversion and renewal drivers
- Partner with Product Managers working to improve our apps
- Support the business with ad-hoc analyses
- Build data pipelines to support reporting and analyses, and help shape our evolving data infrastructure
- Foster data self-service culture in the product & engineering teams
Who you are:
- Autonomous, business savvy and not afraid to get your hands dirty
- 5+ years data analysis experience in an online product business, with a proven track record of building analytics tools and generating insights
- Excellent command of SQL and experience with large data sets (we use Redshift and Postgres)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to translate abstract concepts into plain language
- Great command of Python (especially data-related libraries such as numpy, pandas, etc.)
- Great understanding of frequentist statistics, time series analysis and forecasting techniques
- Nice to have: Experience with BI / reporting tools such as Looker, Redash, or Tableau (we use Redash)
- Nice to have: Experience with ETL-related tools such as DBT or Airflow
- Nice to have: Applied experience with AB testing
- Fluent in English
