What you'll do:

  • Build and maintain systematic reporting and dashboards to foster self-service data culture
  • Conduct deep dives to understand feature / component performance and user behavior, evaluate AB tests, and extract actionable insights
  • Drive research and modeling around retention, conversion and renewal drivers
  • Partner with Product Managers working to improve our apps
  • Support the business with ad-hoc analyses
  • Build data pipelines to support reporting and analyses, and help shape our evolving data infrastructure
  • Foster data self-service culture in the product & engineering teams

Who you are:

  • Autonomous, business savvy and not afraid to get your hands dirty
  • 5+ years data analysis experience in an online product business, with a proven track record of building analytics tools and generating insights
  • Excellent command of SQL and experience with large data sets (we use Redshift and Postgres)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to translate abstract concepts into plain language
  • Great command of Python (especially data-related libraries such as numpy, pandas, etc.)
  • Great understanding of frequentist statistics, time series analysis and forecasting techniques
  • Nice to have: Experience with BI / reporting tools such as Looker, Redash, or Tableau (we use Redash)
  • Nice to have: Experience with ETL-related tools such as DBT or Airflow
  • Nice to have: Applied experience with AB testing
  • Fluent in English
