THE POSITION

The Office of Vocational Rehabilitation (OVR) is looking for a highly motivated individual to serve as an Analyst for OVR programs within their Bureau of Central Operations. This individual will plan, develop, and implement programs that will improve the efficiency and effectiveness of services for individuals with disabilities. DESCRIPTION OF WORK

This position reviews and evaluates Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) programs and projects with complex goals and objectives to assess the extent to which goals and objectives are being met and to determine programmatic impacts and effectiveness.

This position must research, analyze and interpret federal and state laws and regulations for evaluation and reporting requirements relative to OVR.

This position will also advise and present in a variety of formal and informal settings on programmatic questions as they relate to data collection and trends, service provision, case progression, federal and state performance indicators, and national trends in VR.

Work Hours and Additional Information:


  • Full-time employment.
  • Work hours Monday - Friday, 7:45 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. with 30 minute lunch period.
  • You will have the opportunity to work from home (telework), part-time up 4 days a week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

Qualifications:

  • Minimum Experience and Training Requirements - One year as a Program Analyst 2; OR three years of analytical experience, two of which include professional experience in program evaluation and the development of program recommendations, and a bachelor's degree; OR an equivalent combination of experience and training.
