Koch Capabilities is seeking multiple Finance Data Analysts to join our Data Management, Enablement and Transformation team! Our vision is to develop a long-term sustainable capability utilizing data and technology to transform finance, while focusing on safeguarding Koch Finance Data Assets. We aim for our products to be easily reusable, highly transferable, and readily available in centralized and standardized formats.

What You Will Do In Your Role
- Partner with multiple business groups to understand how they are able to leverage data for their finance processes and help determine how to utilize that data for enterprise-wide data reporting requirements
- Partner with multiple business groups to assist them in developing data quality business rules of their own
- Develop key performance indicators at the product level to ensure ongoing and consistent data management
- Partner with customers to understand data problems to support insights and analysis to drive business decisions
- Standardize and format data from multiple business groups into an enterprise data platform
- Lead and manage the development by supporting ongoing data demand signals and use case requirements
- Ensure our data products are updated to meet changing requirements such as evolution of audits, regulatory/government requirements, compliance, etc.
- Facilitate and support testing, identify ingestion errors, surface bugs and defects, and partner with the SMEs to support testing
- Collaborate and knowledge share across other data products to determine where consistent processes should exist
- Responsible for documentation to support the Data Product including: the data governance model, requirements, decisions, process flows, end user support, etc.
- Design, execute and seek continuous improvement of data products, along with identify other Finance processes or groups with opportunities to leverage the data, share value of data products to other teams and processes and influence change
- Act as a change agent related to business and technical changes within the environment as related to data product
The Experience You Will Bring
- Accounting, tax, and/or finance domain knowledge
- Enterprise-wide data management and analytics experience
- Experience partnering and collaborating with multiple business groups or departments to drive results
- Experience communicating and presenting to various levels within an organization
What Will Put You Ahead
- Specific domain knowledge (master data, sales, intercompany) with a strong understanding of how the data is used in various accounting, finance, and tax processes
- Scrum frameworks and methodology
- Experience building business knowledge through meaningful partnerships at the individual contributor and leadership levels
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to create synergies/draw connections across multiple platforms/disparate systems to drive consistency and reuse in data
- Demonstrate deep curiosity and willingness to trace gaps in metadata (and ultimately quality) back to the originator to address and resolve issues proactively at the source
- Understanding of the data development life cycle and data management principles (ETL/ELT process, PDLC (product development lifecycle), metadata management, data quality, etc.)
- Experience in understanding and correcting data discrepancies, identifying data anomalies, and root cause analysis
- Experience working in finance systems such as ERPs, Alteryx, AtScale, SQL, Tableau, tax provision tools or consolidation tools
