CNH Industrial is seeking an experienced Machine Learning/Artificial Intelligence Engineer with a background in Mechatronics/Robotics to bring AI based innovations in Construction Equipment products developing ML algorithms to be integrated in production systems including On Board Vehicle Functions and Cloud Services. The Ideal candidate will have some experience with ADAS systems and in deploying perception solutions for autonomous vehicles. We are seeking broad, curious engineers to join our team where in addition to designing, building, and delivering end-to-end systems, they will be responsible to drive and support the development of infrastructure and tools that serve as the backbone of our applications, enabling vehicle experts, telematics engineers, mechatronics and software engineers to collaborate and deploy systems in fields like Predictive Maintenance and Diagnostic. Our work spans real-time software, mechatronics, machine learning engineering, big data, scalable infrastructure software, and more.


  • Developing solutions in AI & ML for business use-cases as specified by key stakeholders and help in their industrialization.
  • Analyze and understand customer problems and issues to convert these insights into AI based solutions.
  • Work closely with Engineering Community in all phases of new AI&ML developments including concept, design, architecting, prototyping, and production
  • Implementation, performance optimization and maintenance of AI based software
  • Contribute to software design reviews, architecture reviews, and team best practices
  • Continuous research to stay updated with state-of-the-art artificial intelligence, machine learning, and data science tools & solutions.
  • Integration and development of Semi Autonomous and Autonomous Features for off road application.
  • Work closely with Homologation and functional Safety board for safety architecture evaluation and design.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s or advanced degree in Data Science, Robotics, Mechatronics, Computer Engineering or related technical discipline.
  • Solid background and experience (3+) in the field of Data Science, Machine Learning, Deep Learning and related technologies such as aggregating/transforming data, exploring/manipulating data, building & validating models, creating training & inference pipelines/workflows and deploying at scale
  • Previous experience on developing AI models in real-world environments, MLOps, and integrating AI/ML, and other services, into large-scale production applications
  • Preferred experience in the application of ML Technique to Time series of multiple sensors systems
  • Preferred experience in the application of ML Technique to Image Processing
  • Preferred experience in the application of ML Technique to Natural Language Processing
  • Preferred experience in the application of ML Technique to Predictive Diagnostics
  • Proficiency in Python, Matlab/Simulink, C/C++ programming language
  • Expertise in machine learning toolchains and techniques, such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
  • Proficiency with professional software engineering practices & standard practices for the full software life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
  • Preferred experience in vehicle networking protocols tools such as CAN, Ethernet
  • Preferred experience with the integration of LIDAR, RADAR, cameras, on embedded systems
  • Preferred experience with Automated Driving Control systems
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations and virtual teams
