The Data Analyst will support the Client Analytics and Client Management team to provide analytical support to client account teams. The Data Analyst will apply their knowledge of data analytics, research, and critical thinking to turn information into insights and recommended optimal solutions, empowering internal and external stakeholders to make data-driven fleet decision.
Essential Job Functions
Conduct fleet analyses and provide accurate, timely interpretations of vehicle cost, use patterns and trends that aid in the drive for optimal fleet
Work independently and with stakeholders to define ad hoc analyses and develop simple modeling tools and repeatable business process
Use visual data exploration and business intelligence tools to turn information into insights and recommend optimal solutions leading to operational efficiency at the lowest cost to our clients.
Utilize analytical, technical, time management and organization skills to help account teams communicate professionally, effectively and efficiently with clients and prospects using a full suite of internal tools and 3rd party software
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to help shape the strategic direction of the fleet by defining and tracking actionable initiatives that maximize savings, compliance, safety, and other defined goals.
Conduct strategic fleet analyses and provide accurate, timely interpretations of vehicle cost, use patterns and trends that focus on running and optimal fleet.
Leverage strong communication, data visualization, and presentation skills to deliver findings of analysis and explain complex statistical concepts to a non-technical audience.
Partner with the Business Intelligence team to design, test, and implement tools and models
Develop a working understanding of the Wheels Donlen tools and databases and how to access data, fleet metrics, fleet reports
Provide customized, business-focused consulting and fleet management strategy assistance to clients
Analyze large and multiple data sets using visual data exploration tools, and make recommendations based on insights, trends and exceptions gleaned from exploration
Additional Qualifications
Education Requirements: Bachelors Required; Preferences towards concentration in Finance, Computer Science, Business Administration, or an Analytical concentration
Work Experience: 1-3 years’ work experience with background in Finance/FP&A, Management Consulting, Computer Science, or Account Management
Role will be customer-facing, so strong presentation skills are required
