This position will interact with internal Data Engineering Infrastructure and processes
Design and implement processes supporting data transformation, data structures, metadata, dependency, and workload management.
Build Automated Data validation and quality analysis processes to ensure there are no gaps in Data delivered to the business for further analysis
Make continuous improvements to the data platform architecture to support DigiCert’s growing data needs
Share team responsibilities for all aspects involved with maintaining a high level of uptime
Work with data and analytics experts to strive for greater functionality in our data systems


Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Informatics, Information Systems, or another quantitative field
8+ years of experience in a Data Engineer role
5+ years’ Experience building and optimizing large scale data pipelines
Experience with hybrid deployments

Extensive Experience in:
big data tools: Spark, Kafka, etc.
pipeline and workflow management tools: Luigi, Airflow, etc.
stream-processing systems: Storm, Spark-Streaming, etc.
object-oriented/object function scripting languages: Python, Go, etc.
CI/CD: GoCD, Jenkins
Experience in building containerized applications
Experience with CDC for relational SQL and NoSQL databases
Experience performing root cause analysis on internal and external data and processes to answer specific business questions and identify opportunities for improvement.
Experience using GIT for version control
Working knowledge of message queuing, stream processing, and highly scalable data stores.
Working SQL knowledge and familiarity with a variety of databases


Experience with Dockers, Kubernetes
Experience with CDC, Debezium
Experience with DSE Cassandra and DSE Analytics
Experience with Kafka, Kafka-connect
Experience with Databricks, MLFlow
Experience with Machine Learning Algorithms
