Telemetry is a foundational requirement for a Cloud business to understand user behavior and develop better product. As part of the Product Telemetry Platform program, Talend is putting in place a reliable and robust central telemetry data service to develop internal data-driven analytics and smart customer facing applications or features.

As part of that team, we are looking to hire a Data Analyst profile with the following mission:

  • Acquiring data from data sources and maintaining databases
  • Collaborate with existing Analytics team and Data Scientists
  • Explore and visualize data
  • Understand technical requirements
  • Data quality insurance
  • Participate in Data Warehouse modeling
  • Test automation

Required skills:

  • Ability to analyze large datasets[JC1]
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • An analytical mind and inclination for problem-solving with attention to detail
  • Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings
Language knowledge:
  • Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (Business Objects etc), databases (SQL etc), programming (XML, Javascript, or ETL frameworks)
  • Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS etc)
Experience level and attitude:
  • 3 years of proven experience as a data analyst.
  • Interested by digital Transformation, data Science/Analytics and data Governance.

Language knowledge:

  • English (Professional).
