Data Analyst
This Data Analyst will provide assistance with the delivery of the remaining roles on Project Tiger as well as support broader Data initiatives across GWS Finance and People activities. This will be a key role in helping to build a governance model across GWS looking at data monitoring, migrations and processes.

Responsibilities
  • Build and manage a data service to deliver designs for strategic (roadmap) and tactical (project) requirements across the business aligned to the wider architectural practice and design authorities
  • Support the build of the data vision, maturity model and for the business
  • Define standards that relate to data structures, data flows governance, management, modelling, naming/describing, and delivering capabilities
  • Coordinate with the Data Governance and Data and Analytics team to identify future needs and requirements and provide operational support for BI & MI teams
  • Manage and oversee all master data management (MDM) for current and future system and cloud migrations
  • Manage stakeholder workshops at senior level, including discovery meetings, high level requirements gathering and solution providing
  • Creation of a business wide and best in class data discovery product delivering business intelligence and data visualisations that reduce data requests and the need of manual excel reporting
  • Oversee the implementation of a cloud-based data lake (Azure/AWS/GCP) to supporting near real-time access to data, migrating away from legacy on premise batch-based data warehousing solutions
  • Work and manage software and other relevant vendors on licensing, implementation, product delivery ensuring CBRE are receiving a valuable and efficient service

Person Specification
  • Thought leadership capability in the space of data, with a view of pushing for continuous excellence looking forward to new technologies, techniques and opportunities in this space
  • Ability to design and develop data applications using selected tools and frameworks as required and requested
  • Understanding of the principles of Data Governance and GDPR in order that they are incorporated into designs
  • In-depth understanding of database structure principles
  • Experience gathering and analysing system requirements
  • Knowledge of data mining and segmentation techniques
  • Working knowledge of data quality and data Cataloguing tools
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders simultaneously
  • Expertise in SQL
  • Proficiency in data manipulation
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools
