Job Responsibilities And Duties

As a Senior Research Data Scientist, you will play a pivotal role in developing AI techniques for various business applications across industries. Your primary responsibility will involve building cloud-based AI software for predictive analytics business solutions. Your duties will include:

AI Technique Development: Offering strategic insights, methodologies, and innovative solutions for real-world, industrial-scale, and mission-critical business operations.

Software Integration: Building and seamlessly integrating AI technique components into fully functional AI business software.

Client Interaction: Collaborating with our business clients, understanding their requirements, proposing AI software solutions to address those needs, and effectively presenting the solutions.

Data Handling: Preparing and preprocessing data sets, training and testing models, and performing feature engineering for model development.

Documentation: Creating comprehensive documentation, including data dictionaries, modeling strategies, and approaches, to build our company's knowledge base of data and models.

Effective Communication: Maintaining clear and open communication with team members, management, and clients.

Requirements

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

Educational Background: A Ph.D. degree in computer science, mathematics/statistics/physics, or engineering.

Experience: 1-5 years of hands-on experience in machine learning/AI technology and software development.

Expertise: Familiarity with Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Digital Image Processing is essential.

Coding Skills: Proven ability in Python programming is a must.

Quick Learner: Demonstrated ability to rapidly acquire new skills and knowledge.

Additional Qualifications

Desirable qualifications that would be advantageous include:

ETL Expertise: Experience with ETL processes (e.g., Spark, Hadoop, SQL) in big data environments.

NLP Specialization: Expertise in Natural Language Processing, information retrieval, and information extraction.

Image Processing: Knowledge of Digital Image Processing, including OpenCV, and OCR experience for image-to-text conversion.

Front-end Development: Experience in front-end software development.

Work Arrangement

This position is currently remote. However, once Covid-related concerns ease, Ayata may transition to a flexible schedule that could involve occasional office work.

Note: A Ph.D. degree is a mandatory requirement for consideration for this position.
