You as AWS Data Engineer will be part of the strategic drive to in working along with multi-discipline teams through the full delivery lifecycle of complex data products and pipelines with a clear understanding of large-scale data engineering and data science solutions, deliver use cases for one of our customers and develop practical solutions and implement them to give this customer a competitive edge within the enterprise.

You will have breadth of experience in both engineering and architecture across technology disciplines and the unique challenges of each, including software development, automated test and quality assurance, data and integration.

Your role

Delivering a high quality and innovative data driven solution to our client’s advance analytical needs. This will include, working within a team on the clients site: understanding the client’s pain, designing an analytical approach, implementing a solution, ensuring it is of high quality, and leading and mentoring multi discipline technology teams.

Key Responsibilities

As an AWS Architect/Senior Data Engineer, you will help clients transform their business, mostly driven by digital opportunities and technology. In a typical program, you are working at the intersection of business and technology with a sound understanding of the business drivers and the capabilities of IT and how these can contribute to run an organization better or different.

You will be working in a fast-paced Agile environment and expected to facilitate, guide, and influence the clients and teams towards right information technology architecture and becoming interface between Business leadership, Tech leadership and the delivery teams.

Requirements

• Strong experience in Big Data tools/technologies: Python, Scala/Java, Spark and other data processing technologies
• Strong experience in AWS Cloud tools/technologies: S3, EMR, EC2, Lambda
• Good experience in any CICD tool like Jenkins, CircleCI and exposure to Github/Bitbucket.
• Good experience in working in Agile with Agile mind-set and innovative. You will enthusiastically evolve your technical skillset, engage in training and learn new technologies and techniques
• Able to compare between best of technologies by layer – e.g, stream processing, messaging, search, etc.
