As a Data Scientist you will use scientific methods, processes, algorithms and systems to extract knowledge and insights from structured and unstructured healthcare data, and apply knowledge and actionable insights from data across a broad range of medical application domains.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Develop analytics within projects to address customer needs and opportunities

  • Work in technical teams in development, deployment, and application of applied analytics, predictive analytics, and prescriptive analytics

  • Perform exploratory and targeted data analyses using descriptive statistics and other methods

  • Work with data engineers on data quality assessment, data cleansing and data analytics

  • Generate reports, annotated code, and other projects artifacts to document, archive, and communicate your work and outcomes.

  • Share and discuss findings with a diverse team of engineers, clinical experts, product managers, business development leade and medical students. and with stakeholders such as product management, business development leaders.

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in a “STEM” major (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics)

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in AI and software development

  • Some understanding of the diagnostic modalities in the healthcare industry is a plus

  • Deep understanding of the mathematics behind modern AI and CV algorithms (linear algebra, statistics, numerical methods, etc.)

  • Excellent in Python, with knowledge of the features of the language, and best practices, coding conventions, relevant libraries

  • Experience in image processing and data science related Python packages: NumPy, OpenCV, SITK, scikit-learn, pandas

  • Experience with Tensor Flow, Keras

  • Experience in data visualization with 3rd party libraries (e.g. Matplotlib, seaborn)

  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
