We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Data Analytics Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the analysis of space situational awareness data, working closely with our Astrodynamics and software teams. As a Data Analytics Engineer, you will be responsible for gathering vast datasets that are generated by SSA algorithms, interpreting complex information, and transforming it into actionable insights... Responsibilities: Collaborate closely with the Astrodynamics and software development teams to understand data requirements and project objectives. Develop and implement data analytics algorithms and models to extract meaningful insights from raw data obtained from SSA algorithms. Create interactive and informative data visualizations to present analysis results to both technical stakeholders, non-technical stakeholders & stakeholders across hierarchy within a customer organization. Create interactive and intuitive data visualizations in both 2D & 3D map environments. Continuously evaluate and improve data analytics methodologies to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of our analyses. Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify patterns, anomalies, and trends within the data. Perform statistical analysis and apply machine learning techniques to develop predictive models when needed. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in data analytics and visualization. Participate in the development of tools and software applications to automate data processing and analysis tasks. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience in data preprocessing, analysis, and visualization, with a focus on large datasets. Proficiency in Python, with a focus on writing clean and scalable code. Proficiency in data visualization tools and libraries (e.g., Tableau, Matplotlib, D3.js). Familiarity with database systems and SQL for data extraction and manipulation. Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows. Preferred Qualities: Knowledge of machine learning techniques and frameworks. Knowledge of front end and cloud technologies. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team. Effective communication skills to convey complex technical findings to non-technical stakeholders. Passion for space technology and a desire to contribute to the field of space situational awareness.
