We're currently looking for a data scientist with strong programming skills and passionate about cutting edge technology and methods. As a part of our AI solution global development team you'll work hand to hand with us to help our customers/stakeholders to solve business issues in the faster and smarter way.

What you'll need to succeed:
> Fluency in statistical programming languages (Python, R, Knime)
> Experience implementing computationally intensive processing steps (parallelization)
> Demonstrated Experience with BigData ecosystems and tools (cloudera, hortonworks, hadoop, spark, etc)
> Demonstrated Experience in AWS ecosystem and the capacity to dialog with IT teams on such topics
> Ability to work under pressure in team guided to get results
> Experience on problem solving
> Excellent English language skills

What you'll be doing:
> Collaborating with an international team of data scientist and engineers in order to design, develop and implement Big Data and AI solutions considering the constraints of the manufacturing industry
> Interacting closely with internal stakeholders to understand the reporting needs, and then to collect requirements, design, and build BI and decision-assistant solutions for the company
> Developing and supporting new and existing data infrastructures (warehouse, pipelines, etc)
> Optimizing the performance of the company bigData ecosystem
> Designing, building and integrating large amounts of data coming from various resources
> Developing and running ELT processes
> Documenting your work with proper code comments and user manuals
> Writing regular follow-up reports
> Presenting your results in a simple and clear manner for AI and non-AI experts


Degree :
You have a Master or Engineering degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Mathematics, hands-on experience with machine learning, deep learning and computer vision technologies.

Position for VT Operation Artificial intelligence department (Vitesco Technologies center of competence).
The candidate will be in charge of data science and data engineering within productive implementation of defined manufacturing strategic AI applications and will support all VT plants. This will mainly cover tasks of data engineering, model training, evaluation and adjustement to the business to maximize benefit. Main role will remain to design in early stage and keep under control in later stage the proper usage of AI solutions in production using the appropriate technologies (AWS cloud or edge computing) working hand in hand with IT teams, other data scientists and machine learning engineers on such topics.
