Senior Data Engineer - Azure & ETL Specialist

Description

We are looking for a talented data engineer to join a rapidly growing manufacturing company. This role is critical as we aim to double our size over the next few years. You will be instrumental in designing, building, and maintaining robust ETL pipelines to transform and load data into our data warehouse.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain ETL pipelines.
• Work with various data sources, including relational databases, flat files, and web APIs.
• Utilize expertise in Azure and data warehouse technologies like Hadoop, Hive, and Spark.
• Collaborate with business analysts to create insightful dashboards within our ERP system.
• Demonstrate exceptional communication and problem-solving skills.
• Apply understanding of software development life cycle models and project management methodologies.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Proven proficiency in ETL technologies and methodologies.
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience as a Data Engineer using Microsoft Azure.
• Experience with Oracle database technology.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered.
• Strong knowledge of data warehousing concepts, structures, and modeling.
• Familiarity with data modeling, schema design, and database management.
• A solid understanding of data architecture and visualization tools.
