The successful
Data Engineer will work collaboratively with our clients and teams local and global teams to deploy, automate & operate solutions and processes. You'll build and maintain tools for deployment, monitoring, and operations. You'll also troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, testing, and production environment.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years of relevant data engineering experience with end-to-end implementation experience in Data Warehousing or Data Lake
- Strong knowledge in ETL development, solid experience with at least one ETL tool, e.g., SSIS, DataStage, Informatica etc.
- Strong SQL programming skills, analyzing and manipulating the data using Teradata/Oracle/SQL Server
- Good understanding about DWH Architecture and Data Modelling
- Ability to effectively communicate to all stakeholders (technical and non-technical)
- Exposure to Agile Ways of Working
- Full Australian work rights with no restrictions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Technical experience on parallel distributed big data platforms/frameworks (Teradata, Spark, Hadoop, Hive, etc.)
- Technical experience with at least one mainstream programming languages like Python, Java, Go, Scala, etc.
- Cloud exposure preferably AWS
- Process automation skills and experience
