About the role
We have an opportunity for three (3) Data Analyst & Developers to be part of our Spatial & Analytical Capability team. The Data Analyst & Developer creates specialised intelligence programs and applications and provides related technical support and user training to intelligence officers. The role supports NSWPF objectives to enable continuous improvement in investigations, operations and intelligence functions.
Essential requirements
  • Obtain and maintain the requisite security clearance for this role.
  • Demonstrated high level experience and proficiency in the use and application of general-purpose programming languages.
  • Sound analytical and problem-solving skills.

Target Question 1:Describe a time where you developed specialised intelligence programs or applications using any of these programming tools: MS SQL, .Net, Java/Java Script, Spring MVC, Tomcat, MS Dynamics. What did you do, how did you do it and what was the outcome?
Target Question 2:Describe a time where you streamline a highly manual process using any of these programming tools: MS SQL, Java/Java Script, Spring MVC, MS Dynamics, PowerBI, Angular JS, Ionic, Python. How did you kept track your individual tasks to meet deadlines?

Prior to commencement, the successful candidate will be required to undergo a rigorous National Police (criminal history) Check and obtain and maintain a Security Clearance as determined by the NSW Police Force.
This recruitment may be used to create a Talent Pool for similar future roles (ongoing or temporary) that may arise over the next 12 months.
