As an ML Engineer, you will be responsible for developing/debugging/deploying a software-based solution that can perform Optical Character Recognition (OCR) on scanned documents, even those that are blurred, and interpret the text on the documents. This position is a full-time, work-from-office, on-site opportunity. You should be comfortable relocating to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Responsibilities: Develop and implement computer vision algorithms to perform OCR on scanned documents. Work with OCR libraries and tools, such as PaddleOCR/Tesseract/Keras-OCR, to develop a robust OCR solution. Improve the OCR solution to work well with blurred scans. Develop a text translation feature to translate the OCR text into a desired language. Collaborate with other team members to ensure successful project completion. Troubleshoot issues in the existing Arabic OCR system. Handling on-site deployment of the project. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field. Masters degree preferred. Basic knowledge of computer vision techniques and optical character recognition. Knowledge of DNN algorithms such as CNN and RNN. Experience with OCR libraries and tools is preferred. Strong programming skills in Python and other relevant languages. Good analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficient in working with GitHub. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
