Data Engineer

We primarily work in-house at our office next to Domkyrkan, where our teams typically consist of 1-4 members, each working on different projects. Experienced employees often contribute to multiple projects.

DDC is now seeking two Data Engineers to strengthen our offering. The ideal candidate(s) will have a strong background within IT, data management, programming, ETL processes, and data pipeline development.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines
• Implement ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data
• Optimize data systems for performance and scalability
• Ensure data quality and integrity across various data sources

Qualifications:

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or a related field
• Experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role
• Proficiency with SQL and database technologies
• Experience with ETL/ELT tools and processes
• Knowledge of data warehousing and big data technologies like Hadoop and Spark

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with relevant cloud services and platforms, particularly Azure
• Experience with programming languages such as C# and Python
• Experience with Data Vault, Star/Snowflake Schema
• Knowledge of data visualization tools like PowerBI or similar
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools
