In our team we are looking for semi-senior consultants to assist different teams in PwC Europe, with multiple tasks of data-crunching with a focus on database, macros, power pivot and different tools within a finance focus area.
The opportunity
You could find yourself assisting clients to drive business-led and technology-enabled transformations across a broad range of business issues. You’ll be part of a highly collaborative team where we’ll need you to be able participate in different task with self-ownership and tide deadlines.
The requirements
Fluent in English, both verbal and written
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting or Business Administration. Preferably with a Masters’ in Finance.
High degree of analytical thinking and ability to solve complex problems. Experience in data modeling, macros. Alteryx knowledge is a plus. Digital affinity to work with different database tools to process information
Team player with the ability to engage in international teams and resolve problems on their own. Collaborative workstyle and able to effectively work remotely (with limited oversight) while handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Advanced skills in MS-Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), with the ability to independently storyboard and develop messaging for senior, firm-wide leadership
Commitment and responsibility for high quality work
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, pride of ownership, and innate intellectual curiosity
Comfortable when working with ambiguity and in an unstructured environment to introduce new approaches and thought ownership to projects
Be willing to drive the future of the team along with the local Management
Ability to analyze large datasets, an analytical mind and inclination
Financial orientation to comprehend the final deliverable
The responsibilities
Teach and assist junior members in both technical and soft skill
Work in complex projects oriented in data models structure, updates and sophisticated analytic capabilities.
Effectively work in multiple project assignments with constant change of priority
Prepare ad-hoc internal reports regarding current team operations for status calls
Collect, clean transform, reconcile and restructure financial data for analysis.
Translate analytics data into clear, understandable for business leaders, identify potential issues and specific analytic results that drive actionable insights
Maintain consistency in analytic practices and be responsible of continuously learn and share analytic mythology and technique with junior members
Understand how a company works and the structure of a companies financial statements
