We have an exciting new position come available for an highly experienced Senior Treasury & Data Analyst to join our team. This role is to help ensure the business meets its strategic and financial goals by supporting the Treasury and Financial Planning & Analysis functions.
Job Title: Senior Treasury & Finance Analyst
Location: To be based in either our London or Oxford Offices
Hours Per Week: 37.5

Operational banking – Owning the main operational processes, including daily cash analysis and reporting, requesting transactions (deposits, borrowings, interest, fees and ad hoc payments), system maintenance and control (HSBCnet, Kyriba, RBS Bankline, BACS)
Liquidity management – collating and analysis monthly cash flow forecasts from the business and preparing weekly performance tracking
Transactional process problem solving – liaising with transactional teams and banks, interrogating systems (HSBCnet, RBS Bankline, SAP) and analysing/reconciling relevant data to resolve issues
Bank and surety guarantees – Managing the guarantee database and providing analysis and support in procuring new guarantees, extensions and cancellations
Reporting – preparing daily, weekly and monthly cash, debt and investment reporting for key stakeholders (e.g. CFO, Ferrovial Treasury)
Ad hoc work and projects as determined by the Treasury Manager
Data Analysis (FP&A)
Taking ownership of the core & auxiliary files used by the FP&A Managers to prepare monthly management account reporting, including preparation, maintenance and development of the files
Taking ownership of the core & auxiliary files used by the FP&A Managers to prepare budget and reforecast reporting, including preparation, maintenance and development of the files
Developing an integrated cash flow report, analysing direct and indirect cash flows from SAP BPC to reconcile differences and help provide consistent, accurate cash management information.

Qualified Accountant or Treasurer (CIMA, ACA, ACT or equivalent)
A high level of numeracy and strong data handling skills essential
Advanced Excel skills essential
A good working knowledge of our core financial and treasury systems (SAP, SAP BPC, Kyriba, HSBCnet, RBS Bankline) essential
Moderate Word and Powerpoint skills
Strong organisational skills, able to prioritise tasks and manage time/workload effectively
Operational Treasury, including transactional treasury, accounting for treasury, guarantees, cash management and forecasting
Management accounting, including budgeting, reporting and analysis
Attention to detail
Motivated and takes pride in producing high quality work
A control mindset, willing to act independently in order to safeguard the company’s assets
