Data Information Analyst
Base location: Queen Elizabeth University Hospital
Band 5
Permanent contract
37.5hrs per week
  • Standard hours Mon-Fri 8am-4pm
  • May on occasion be required to work weekend or backshift to cover staff training

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde are looking to recruit an experienced Data Information Analyst on a permanent basis based at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital working within the Quality & Performance Department of the Estates & Facilities Directorate. The successful candidate will on occasion be required to travel to sites across NHSGG&C.

The Data Information Analyst will play a key role in exploiting data and to enhance the data analysis, interpretation and presentation skills, supporting the development of relevant datasets to appropriately reflect the information needs of the Quality & Performance team. To carry out accurate manipulation, analysis, interpretation and dissemination of statistics and reports for a range of internal and external stakeholders.

The Data Information Analyst will be required to apply information management skills, make proposals on IM&T systems, reports and training policies and have techniques to support the maintenance and delivery of all solutions. They will provide a range of reports to support the quality & performance team’s requirements and quality assure the work package.

The Data Information Analyst will have knowledge of facts, principles, processes and general concepts in their field of work, and be guided by standard operating procedures, building and sustaining the quality of information and records management within NHSGGC.
