We are hiring for a talented Process Data Analyst who will be responsible for overseeing the data management program for all US-based water treatment plants and resin regeneration systems, and as such, will support onsite operations through timely and accurate data entry, QA/QC, analysis and communication. This is a business-critical role that requires meticulous attention to detail, and ability to understand sophisticated process equipment treating contaminated water.

A DAY IN THE LIFE

As a key member of the team, this role will be responsible for a full range of activities including:

  • Overseeing data quality assurance and quality control programs for all Australian based operational water treatment plants and resin generation systems, and assisting with the ramp up of data management activities in the US and Europe.

  • Support the building of a standardized data management system to drive global consistency and allow for the scale up of the data collection and analysis across ECT2’s global teams

  • Support the organizing and analysis of archived data into a standardized format for easier review and analysis of the data.

  • Liaising with ECT2 and analytical laboratory stakeholders to correct issues identified with sample chains of custody, sample receipt notifications, electronic data deliverables and any other influences on data quality, to ensure data received is of an acceptable quality and is reliable;

  • Collating, filing, reviewing, uploading, sorting and plotting analytical and process data from operational sites into their respective databases;

  • Upon uploading, review and analyze operational data and identify concerning variations and trends and communicate to the team to ensure appropriate action is taken by the plant operations staff, where necessary;

  • Assist with data compilation, chart generation and reviewing trends;

  • Manage the provision of data packages to support both regular routine external reporting requirements, and for ad hoc technical memoranda and conference presentations;

  • Engage with other data experts and managers within ECT2 to streamline the data management workflow;

  • Support technical, marketing and business development teams across ECT2 in provision of accurate and up-to-date data deliverables from the data management team;

  • Support as needed with pilot plant activity.

  • Assist with on-site plant operations, monitoring and maintenance, to develop understanding of the process equipment from which the data is collected, and the criticality of the data management program; and

  • Where possible, support R&D, project development, and other special projects.

NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in an engineering, science, information technology or business analytics field desirable

  • 2-5 years of professional experience ideally demonstrated in a relevant industry

  • Demonstrated experience with MS Excel spreadsheet development and maintenance

  • Demonstrated experience with MS Excel VB editing and/or database software experience (desirable)
