Senior Data Analyst, Supply Chain

We are looking for a Supply Chain Analyst to join Bolt Market’s Global Supply Chain team on our journey to build our grocery vertical and dark stores all over our markets throughout Europe and Africa.

The role will report into the Supply Chain function, and in parallel work closely with the Data Analytics and Data Science teams to apply advanced analytics techniques, build and improve machine learning models and deliver analytical results according to Supply Chain requirements.

Your daily adventures will include:
  • Create processes and methods to gather supply chain data
  • Measure & report SC KPIs like forecast accuracy, bias, availability, waste, inventory, length out of stock, and supplier OTIF amongst others
  • Analyze data to identify problematic areas in data analysis and suggest improvements
  • Production and distribution of daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly reports and dashboards
  • Preparation of templates for global and local team review meetings Dark Stores supply chain forecast
  • Take ownership for and continuously improve the supply forecast throughout all our stores globally
  • Analyze historical trends in order to improve both the purchasing and supply chain forecast - incorporate all important trends such as promotions, seasonality, delivery fees, etc
  • Improve and deploy all local forecasts worldwide
  • Work with both HQ and Local teams to design the best forecast & replenishment plans for each market
  • Serve the different stakeholders with accurate forecasts in order to make sure we have all needed products
  • Assist teams in preparation of replenishment forecast for vendors
  • Analyze historical supplier performance and provide recommendations for improvement in the areas of delivery schedules, inventory management based on supplier reliability, supplier performance dashboards for negotiation
  • Collaborate and partner with the Central team to ensure our efforts are resourced to maximize positive impact to the overall growth of the business on all fronts
  • Holistic Inventory Management with processes and tools designed to maintain optimum levels of inventory per category, including ABC analysis, Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) etc

We are looking for:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, Statistics or related field
  • At least 2 years of experience in an analytical role dealing with large volumes of data
  • Experience in consulting, data analysis, business intelligence, and/or implementing data-driven solutions is a plus
  • Amazing SQL and Excel skills
  • Experience with Python or R is a strong plus
  • Experience with some BI tools and data visualization like Tableau, Power BI or Looker
  • Excellent communication & written skills in English
