The incumbent will have to design and develop integration solutions using SQL and data movement tools for Intra-system data distribution, loads into the data warehouse. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of both technical aspects and business needs relating to data. This is a great opportunity for a Data Engineer who will design and build the data platform to achieve data strategy.
Degree in Computer Sciences or Information Technology
6+ years’ experience working with database systems is essential
Expertise in Dimensional Modelling
Data Warehouse design methodologies (Ralph Kimball) is essential
Azure Data Factory
Power BI (desirable)
Drive discussions & decisions on how to capitalise on data (including external datasets) as a strategic asset
Design data architecture (availability, security, scalability, and efficiency of data platform)
Work alongside Architect to select fit-for-purpose toolset for the platform
Collaborate with Tech Leads to implement the move of workload (new and existing) to Cloud platform
Continuously iterate on data architecture improvements – with a long-term view of supporting the business strategy
Establish data standards and oversee compliance
